Feversham College offers a wide range of specialist facilities for use by our students.
These include 5 science labs, with 30 networked computers in two of them. There is also data logging equipment, a science prep room and a fantastic outdoor classroom.
The outdoor classroom or 'Eco Lodge' is used to deliver lessons and to facilitate joint projects with our primary partners. Students can observe different organisms and habitats in the area, monitor conditions and identify numbers of different species in the area.
The outdoor classroom also has well developed vegetable beds. The Eco Club have been involved in sowing seeds, planting seedlings and then harvesting the vegetables. The following vegetables have been in the bed: broad beans, garlic, leeks, dwarf beans, potatoes, radish and lettuce. The Eco Club have also grown tomatoes in the greenhouse.
The pond is well established and is home to many organisms. We have invited our local primary schools to use the pond for pond dipping to futher our links within the Community.
